Why You Should Have A Second Passport

Some Second Passport Options

Let?s say something really bad happened here in the U.S.:

you got framed for a crime you didn?t commit;
a lunatic took charge of the government and ordered your ethnic group rounded up and put in
concentration camps (don?t laugh; remember Japanese/Americans during W.W.II?);
you got hit with a massive judgment and a judge threatened you with contempt if you didn?t turn
over every penny you had; or
civil unrest caused widespread rioting and looting around the country.

If any of these things happened, you might want to leave for awhile.

Imagine you have to get out of the country in 24 hours. You have plenty of money. The situation is bad enough that
you may have be gone for a year or two. Where would you go?

Don?t know? Most people don?t have a contingency plan for this type of situation.

One option is to have a second citizenship. If you have two citizenships you have a (hopefully) safe haven to escape to
instantly if you must. You can stay there indefinitely. You will not be asked to leave after 3-6 months as you would if
you were in a country as a visitor.

Many people are entitled by marriage or ancestry to dual citizenship in the USA and another country. For those who
aren?t, citizenship is available for sale. The table below shows some of your options for purchased citizenship in
Belize, Dominica, Grenada, and St. Kitts & Nevis.
